It started at the door.

A queue of guests dressed for the night, and a hostess searching paper lists for their names. This is how Cedar Invites began, in my own words.

In two years, I was invited to more than 20 weddings.

Some of those couples were very close to me, so I didn't only see the wedding night. I heard everything that came before it.

The guest list that changed every week. Tables drawn, then redrawn, every time a family confirmed two and came with five. The supplier deadlines, and the fear of missing a payment. And after the wedding, the same message to everyone: "please send me your photos." Most never did.

On top of that, the photo booth, the printed memory book and the audio guestbook each came from a different supplier, each with its own high price, and none of them connected to the others.

Then, wedding after wedding, I saw the same scene at the door. A queue of guests dressed for the night, waiting. A hostess searching for each name on two or three sheets of paper to tell them their table.

I watched the guests' faces while they waited. That was the first impression of a wedding the couple had spent months preparing.

Then: two or three sheets of paper, and a queue. Now: guests scan, find their table and walk in.

I told myself: I can fix this.

That's how Cedar Invites was born.

  1. Before

Today, one invitation reaches each family on WhatsApp, in Arabic, French or English. RSVPs arrive live. When the guest list changes, the couple drags a guest to another table, and the QR seat finder updates within seconds. No more paper at the door.

  2. The night

During the night, guests share their photos in a live gallery, find every picture they appear in with face search, and watch them on the Live Wall.

  3. The day after

The day after, a thank-you video reaches every guest.

At a recent wedding, the hostess team came to thank the couple, because the QR seating cleared the queue at the entrance. At the same wedding, three couples connected through our Singleton Club.

We serve couples with 100 guests or more, from Beirut to Dubai and wherever in the world they celebrate. What we stand for is simple:

Don't worry. We got you, from the first invite to the day after.
